Joker FML

So I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a lady that severe Tourettes.

She wanted information on one of our drugs, and wanted to know if her Physician was right in prescribing it to her.

Of course I can't make a reccomendation and tried repeatedly to have her discuss with her Physician whether the benefits of the medication outweigh the risks.

The FML part is the 300+ times she said b*tch, c*nt and the N word to me.

It was the longest and most distracting phone call of my life.

What? How could she say that? She is obviously the ignorant b*tch-c*nt here!

On the other hand, this might be signs of her Tourette's acting up. And it looks like you know this from the tone of your last 2 sentences. In that case, FYL. I'm sure she doesn't mean it. I have never encountered anyone with Tourette's that has symptoms of coprolalia.

According to wikipedia:
"Coprolalia (the spontaneous utterance of socially objectionable or taboo words or phrases) is the most publicized symptom of Tourette's, but it is not required for a diagnosis of Tourette's and only about 10% of Tourette's patients exhibit it."

Wow. TIL.

It was definately her Tourette's causing her to speak like that. She was stuttering, but sounded very sweet (as far as the tone of her voice)...but it was crazy the obscene words that were peppered through out each and every sentence!

I found it so distracting, I started to have a hard time talking, not stuttering, but just couldn't hold my train of thought.

I have talked to Tourette's patients before, but usually they say harmless words. One patient constantle said "silver" and another patient just growled while talking.

Shred wrote LOL, last week I dropped my phone in a toilet! FML , but it still works...

Haha.. When Mijo can't find something (and it's in plain sight) I always say. "If it could it would have pissed in your eye."

Idk how it started, I think I was trying to change up from saying "If it was a snake it would bite you."

Not one of my best one-liners, but it has stuck. LOL
