| Well it's curable by some degree. I get in the state of the paralysis when my biorythm is crushed, when I don't get enough fresh air and when I'm not being active in sports so I have to like go to sleep at 10-11pm and if the next day I go to sleep at 6am I'm going to have the parlysis, but sometimes it just happens when I simply can't bring myself to sleep...which is often :S
I panic because you literally can't move- half of your brains are "turned on" but your body is still asleep and you feel traped. Now this usually lasts for like 20-30 second but sometimes longer and it's really scary for me. I've read that people who have this get used to it and take it as something positive...but for me it's just whoaa!!!
anyway, everything it happens it's in my mind, although I'm awake you know what I mean..but I can't move and sometimes I hear myself snore o.0 Some legends say that the demon is sitting on your chest or you're being obducted by aliens but it has already been scientificaly explained

| Wow Timo, that sounds scary indeed. I had this happen to me too. When i woke up in the middle of the night and i couldnt move at all. I was awake but didnt feel my body, that was really really scary. It lasted for over a minut and i tried to scream or move my arm to wake up my boyfriend. But i just couldnt...So if you experience that 3-5 times a month....wow... Weird fact about me: The dermatoligist forbid me to go in the sun. I have a very bad and sensitive skin. But who can stay out of the sun?? Thats @#$%. So i just use a good sunblock.... | |

| @Calibra- LMFAO!!!!!!!!!! Dude.. But well, at least you found it!! @Timo- Dang, I feel bad for you I wish you could get it cured or something @Kosmo- EWWWWW!!! How do you drink vinegar?! YUCK!! And you and Pam should cook for me one day @RR- How do YOU know its BS? I'm only saying that because some people have religions and probably think the demon actually does sit on our chest.. and then there are also believers of aliens.. so you never know! Though I'm Catholic, I doubt a demon sits on people's chest to paralysis us in our sleep @Simmy- awww thats pretty sad Back were my mom used to work she had a friend which had a four year old girl which has the same thing as you do When we all went to the beach together the poor little girl had to wear super good sublock But at least she still had fun So I'm happy you're still living your life Simmy even though you have this |

| haha I kinda agree with RR, of coure it's made up, there are scientific explanations on this, but the demon & alien thing is what people believed in the past when they couldn't explain it. | |

Religion is a way of explaining life. So is science, the difference is that science is more believable. I bet in the future science's ideals will be laughed at like people do religion today. | |

| When I was in the first grade I declared triceratops as my favorite dinosaur!!! LOL. I was also in love with a little blond boy in my class. His name was Andrew. My grandma lived on a 100 acre farm in Arkansas and called me to tell all abut a baby calf that had been born. So when she asked what she should name it..I offered up my beloveds name. Every summer we would go to Arkansas to visit my Grandma, and I would ask, "where was Andrew?" We would roam the pastures until we found him. My Grandma would spot him...over in the shade of a tree..near the barn..etc... when I graduated High School I went to her farm and once again wanted to see my cow Andrew. Thats when she told me....they had eaten Andrew years and years before and when I came to visit she pointed to any old cow and declared it was "the one." -pamalam <----scarred for life. | |

| aww pamalam! do you still know the little blond boy after whom you named a cow? I have a random story of my own too. This was about 15 years or so ago, back when little Von was in daycare. Daycare had 2 classes: group A and group B. Group A would always start their one-hour break 15 minutes before group B. I was in group B. For some reason, every recess, there would be a little boy from group A who would stand by the door and wait for the 15 first minutes of his recess. When group B came out, he took my hand we we would run across the playground together. This happened everyday for a year. One day, the teachers found it so funny that they asked my mom to stay and wait for recess. Again, little boy from group A waits for 15 minutes. I show up, he takes my hand, but just then the 3 women (two teachers and my mom) pointed at us and laughed amongst themselves. That was the last I heard of the little boy. He stopped waiting for me, and soon after I went to kindergarden. | |

| On the topic of stories from our younger years....
I got my first "real" kiss in 2nd grade. I used to be in love with this boy named Donovan. Donovan hated my existence, but I followed him around like a little girl in love. One day we were in this fortress made of tires and I told him to close his eyes and then I kissed him and it was a french kiss. Donovan then loved my existence. He was my boyfriend until 3rd grade when he was in a different class and he moved sometime that year. I hope he is doing lovely wherever he is!

| awwwwwwwww cute story pops kosmote so you see light green as yellow? and purple as blue? and brown as dark red? O_o oh well at least those are only slight tone differences! I have a friend who saw gray as pink. So when his mom bought him a gray scarf, he complained saying "mom!! whyd you get me a pink scarf?!" and that was when he realized he was slightly colorblind | |
