Subject: I hate my PS3. Sat Jun 25, 2011 10:02 am
Just want to vent
You've probably seen me playing a fair amount of Dead Nation lately. This week I've been playing the campaign through on morbid difficulty (second hardest); and last night I made it to the start of chapter 10 (the final chapter) with no deaths or restarts.
Played through this chapter very slowly, killing everything I could for max. points and made it to the final checkpoint without any deaths.
Fought my way through all three stages of the final checkpoint successfully first time, and get to the point where I'm in view of the rescue vehicle (the highlighted area by the helicopter below), when this happens:
PS3 crashes and resets itself .____.
Last chapter all gone, going to have to redo (and I'll have lost no-death bonus and my 1100x multiplier) the last chapter. If I'd made it a few more steps I'd probably be in the top 300 scores worldwide.
Ugh.

I didn't, I lost a lot of my bonuses haha. Scored about 170m fewer points than I would have done without the crash.
