Another reason to hate Apple products

Anything to put people off Apple products must be good. I hate the way they've cornered the market with their portable media player. There's just nothing else out there that even comes close to the Ipod for functionality, and its because no-one else is interested in anything other than whatever new 'This changes everything... again' product Steve Jobs craps out of his bum-hole.

I don't necessarily hate China or the Chinese, but I don't like it when big multinational companies find loopholes and get their products produced so cheaply. This no-suicide agreement is seriously infringing on their civil rights (do they have those in China?).

Surely, anyone has the right to attempt to kill themselves... no, wait, its pretty much illegal everywhere. Wouldn't it be ironic, if, when you fail to kill yourself, you get put in prison then put to death?

I actually prefer they sign that... I don't want to hear about massive suicide. And I think it's very good China is moving forward, they deserve that... if only communism left the country.

And I, for one, LOVE Apple products. If I had to choose between @#$% Microsoft from hell or Apple, well, Apple for the win. iLove.

@echidna - Isn't that good though? If people ONLY want to buy Apple products, that means that they are a prospering company with many fans. That's a signal to the other companies that they have to step up their level to Apple's standards.

I dont know about you guys but if a job that sucked sucked so bad to the point i wanted to kill myself, I would just quit. But to me sounds like quiting isnt easy for them. Even if they got paid 10 Gs and hour its still not worth dieing over.

Theres nothing wrong with trying to find out ways to make stuff cheaper, thats business, but when workers get treated like slaves thats a big problem.
Not everyone around the world sees it the same way. Some think slaves would be a good thing and I think that is retarded. Some of Our businesses in the USA arent all that great lately and ppl can feel replacible or underpaid. But it just a combo of or government and the economy, and who knows if everyones economys keep getting worse then slave labor and sweatshops might become a more regular thing around the world. Just a conspiracy
Everyone wants there ipods, ps3's cellphones so theres no doubt theres is a demand.
In the end its always someone high up in the company trying to make more money by cutting wages,hours and making less ppl do the same or bigger job.
and this will never benifit the workers. You know damn well that boss making them desicions wouldnt have his son or daughter working in those factories...

If you want to buy stuff for cheap, someone's gotta work for cheap. XD

If a company doesn't send their work overseas, then they'll have to charge more for their products and no one will buy. I don't think they really have a choice if they want to maintain their business.


I dislike Apple because they overcharge for inferior technology. Their iphones are good, but I don't know why anyone would get a mac. They're always months-years behind. T_T

thats the hting apple products are not cheap.. you'd think they could afford to have better working conditions

But Nova, people who buy Macs are buying them because they are really and truly not gamers. I agree that if I was a gamer I would probably stick to some PC (which unfortunately has Windows on it), but right now, I see Mac as an easier way to navigate, store data, and have everything in one place-program. Windows doesn't really work that way (at least in my site it doesn't). Macs are actually pretty far ahead of their time, or maybe it's just the simplicity of it that makes it seem behind? I don't know. I do know that it's easier to organize and have everything together on Macs though.
But hey, we all have our likings and views of technology (and stuff ).

Everyone always leaves out Linux and unix in these arguments. When you consider price and quality Linux usually wins, but since we get windows for free I like to use it too.

I don't find macs easy to use, and I used to have a mac so you can't blame it on me being unfamiliar with it. IMO Macs have gone greatly down in quality over the last 15 yrs, where windows have pretty much stayed about the same.

Linux has gotten waaaaay better over time. If it wasn't for flash sucking on linux, I'd probably stop using windows.
