| I love watching BBC and British shows. I think I like British Humor more than American. Or maybe BBC just makes better quality shows, LOL. I use to have cable and the channel BBC America. But now I use Netflix and HuluPlus for most of my tv show watching. So shows I have watched and like are: Coupling Gavin & Stacy Ab Fab Monday Monday Pulling Little Britain Being Human The F Word (Gordon Ramsey) actually I love all Gordon Ramsey shows) I am always looking for more British Shows to watch. So if you can add your suggestions, I will check them out! Ps I have also watched every episode and movie of the Trailer Park Boys, but thats Canadian. LOL. Thanks! | |

| British sitcoms I'd recommend... Fawlty Towers Black Books The IT Crowd Red Dwarf Father Ted Blackadder Only Fools and Horses
Peep Show and The Inbetweeners are also popular. I'm sure there's plenty of good ones I've forgotten. I'd go with Fawlty Towers or Black Books first, personally.
Also, glitch said "That Mitchell and Webb Look" is available on Netflix in Canada, so maybe you can get it in the USA too. If so, watch it, it's hilarious.
Edit: clarified the name of the sketchshow.

| Have you seen "The Thin Blue Line"? Its got Rowan Atkinson in it, as a Police Inspector. Its very funny!
Urrm, I agree with almost all of Frev's suggestions, apart from Only Fools... I never really got into that. Red Dwarf is a MUST SEE!
I really like Being Human, but did you also see the mini-series that ran alongside series 3? It was called "Becoming Human", and that was also really good.
Urrm, there's a show called "My Family", which is about an average British family, and I think that's quite good too. Try to find the first seasons of it, thats where its the best.
Moving away from comedy, then you've got shows like "Spooks", which I think is one of the best things on UK TV nowadays. I can't wait for it to come back. Its a drama series about MI5, and the work they do. Gripping stuff, and you never know who they'll kill off!

| Red Dwarf is amazing! I didn't put it as one of the first to check out as (to me, anyway) it's more of a grower rather than something that's great first time. Did you heard about the new series they're filming?
Never really got into Only Fools myself either... but it's somewhat popular over here, so maybe Pam'll like it.
My Family went downhill after Nick left I think.
Can't believe I forgot to mention Look Around You in my last post. Educational TV how it should be made. First series is a must-see.

| Oh dear Pammie......that why I can't finish Being Human anymore....people spoil the heck out of it. Season 2 - spoiled with the train thing. Season 3-spoiled with the mitchell thing. Also my friend mocks me cos I like George so how I can't watch it without getting in a Russell Tovey related argument (yes I know he's gay). Haha he's jealous because he's not receiving the girly nerdappreciation that Russell gets . He told me so. | |

| I found BEING HUMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It says "Not Available" when I am looking at the Netflix gallery of movies/shows on my PS3, but when I go to the netflix.com website and look for it, the DVDs can be shipped to me! So not only did I order all of series 2 and 3 (though they will come to me 1 disk at a time) I bumped them up in priority in the queue up...LOL. Sorry Mijo, "The A-Team" will not be delivered in our mailbox (or any of the other 12 movies on our list) until I get caught up on my fav unearthly trio! The good thing is, disks arrive to me within one day of shipping. So I could have my 1st BH disk by tomorrow if I am lucky! | |

| So what have I been watching since I posted this?
Well I have re-watched all of Being Human Series 1, (via netflix mail 1 disk at a time) and I have just completed watching all of Series 2. Knock on wood, I will have the first disk of series 3 waiting for me in my mailbox after work on Friday!
Sooo... OMG, OMG, OMG, Poor Annie, trapped after Kemps horrible exorcism. I cant believe he killed psychic guy to make the door for her to go through!
Awww. Mitchell is off the wagon and drinking (blood) again! The way he killed the coroner! Yikes. Sad about Ivan, I liked him.
I have never understood the chemistry/attraction between (sexy) Mitchell and Lucy Jaggert. She always looks like she is smelling dirty gym socks. She is not nearly hot enough to be dating my vamp. Hhmmpf.
Then George and that Sam lady? puleease. Thank goodness he found Nina again. even though I have never been crazy about Nina I think she is better for George. Then the message Tully left for George in the waiting room? wow.
I love that Annie came and snatched Kemp, totally didn't expect Lucy to get stabbed with the vamp stake.
and then....Herrick? OMG Herrick!!!!!
PS. I guess I should mention I added all the other shows everyone suggested to my queue on Netflix too. So while I wait for Being Human to arrive in my mailbox, I have been watching...The IT Crowd.
I usually like watching my shows in big viewing blocks. So I wont watch another show until I have finished all of BH or The IT Crowd.
I love Roy from IT, he was also in the movie The Bridesmaids.

| Not yet Echi. I actually watch things in huge blocks at a time. So I literally watch 3-4 shows of BH, or since I haven't been at work, I have watched hours of IT crowd or hours of "The Tudors" all at one time. I managed to watch every single episode of "Weeds" in one weekend. 5 series worth. Yes I was quite the couch potato that weekend. LOL. Unless it is a show that Evil wants to watch with me. Then I save it for him and we watch 1 or 2 episodes a night max. And we will do that every night until we have watched them all. We did that when we were watching "Better Off Ted" then we slowed down when we only had a few episodes left and didn't want it to end.... | |

| I have finished all of "The IT Crowd," and am working through "That Mitchell and Webb Look"
BTW Where was sexy Mitchell from? Ireland? or Scotland?
I think I have just realized I can't decipher between a British, Scottish or Irish accent. Is there much of a difference?
