I have Little Britain in my Netflix queue for the moment. believe it or not I havent finished That Mitchell and Webb Look yet. I got sidetracked watching Gordon Ramseys Best Restaurant and Gordon Ramseys Great Escape.
Which reminds me, here is another British word I need to learn the meaning of.
Punter.
I cant wait to watch Black Adder. Since I have learned all about the Tudors, and then was reading up recently ton he Missing Princes. ( I know Black Adder is a fictional comedy)

Coupling was the very first BBC - UK show I ever saw, and I think that's what got me hooked on British television.
The closest description would be it's a British "Friends", but of course this series was first, so I wouldnt doubt that the Americans borrowed the concept. LOL.
When Coupling ended, I then started watching Gavin and Stacy. Watch that one too Glitchy! But give it a couple of episodes, and then you'll finally start to understand what people are saying. That welsh accent is crazy on my american ears...lol. But I guess its part of a running gag, because half the time the Brits are trying to understand what they are saying too.

You should add Garth Marenghi's Darkplace to your list. It's a parody of low-budget 80s horror/comedy.
It has Richard Ayaode and Matt Berry (Moss&Douglas from the IT Crowd) in it. Only 6 episodes but worth watching.

Of all the shows mentioned here, these are the only ones I can find on Netflix Canada. (boo, Canada, boo.)
Fawlty Towers Red Dwarf The IT crowd Mitchell & Webb Look Black Adder Little Britain
I once rented the complete season 1 of Black Books on our city library but didn't find the time to watch them. -_____-

I am waiting patiently for someone to tell me Mitchell makes it back some magical way. (I have wasted many an hour - reviewing my BH knowledge and looking for loopholes for sexy mitchells return)

That was the last ever episode, I'm afraid.
An ancient greek/fantasy series called Atlantis started last weekend on BBC. First episode is on iPlayer now. I'm not sold on the lead actor but it seems like it could be worth watching.

Have you tried turning it on and off again? Is it plugged in? There we go, have a good day now.

I guess we can recommend here not only BBC programmes but British shows in general? If so - Peep Show. The funniest series I've seen I think =)) It's on US Netflix so please please please watch it! Also of course Spaced. Love it! =)
