| Isn't there a company that you can send your idea to, and they send it right back to you for a fee.
Does 100% cotton really help the cracks in a Iron on?

| well, 100% cotton helps prevent cracking from the stretching point of view.
If you have regular fabric (something with polyester, even as low as 5%, or nylon, or any synthetic fabric) and you iron the print, on this is what happens: - the print-iron-image is solid, non stretchable, and sticks to the fabric. - the problem is that any non 100% cotton fabric will be able to stretch (it has a certain amount a elasticity) - so the elastic fabric stretches (as you wash it, dry it, or as you tug it in your movements) while the iron-print doesn't stretch. - its a battle of strength between the "solidity" ("non-stretchability") of the iron-print and the strength with which it is adhered to the relatively more "elastic" fabric underneath. - the iron-print will eventually tear and crack because it is too stuck to the fabric and doesn't want to let go of the fabric.
100% Cotton doesn't stretch, so it prevents cracking due to stretching of the fabric underneath.
**Though using 100% cotton prevents the cracking due to "stretching" of the fabric, it doesn't prevent cracking from "wear and tear" of the iron-print (e.g. if the wash is too turbulent, if the tshirt is always crumpled up in a ball instead of folded or hung, etc). For this problem, you'll have to look into the quality, the type, and the method used to apply the iron-print you're using.

| hahaha its funny I only know that because I randomly wanted to print on a t-shirt one day at one of those stores that do it for customers.. and I kept insisting on wanting it on elastic fabric (because they are o-so-much-more comfy!) everyday is a learning experience, dear! ^^ | |

| they had some kind of machine that's like a mega-iron XD, its two hot plaques. I guess it allows for stronger compression, bigger area of compression, and higher temperature. | |
