| Oh, musicals... I LOVE them! Every time I am visiting hime, I am trying to stay for a day or two in NYC (I like to stay near Hell's Kitchen, in Wyndham Garden Hotel, W 36 Street in Manhattan, don't ask me why). One reason is that from there it's a 10-15 miutes walk to the Broadway. But! FYI, if you ever decide to go to the Bradway's performance, whether it's a theatrical one or musical, DO NOT buy tickets directly from them. Go to TKTS discount booth (there is a famous Red TKTS on Time's Square). You can save up to 50-60% there! I've seen A LOT of musicals that way. And! My all-time favourite is... No doubt... POTO! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl6oZc7YSe8 P.S. Glitchy, I was fond of Wicked TOO! I saw it and imnmediately fall in love with it... So, yeah, I can understand your tears. | |

| I didn't know that Idina and Kristin were still performing in Wicked! How exciting! (for those that don't know they are also on glee!)
Gregory Maquires books are a commitment. You have to really push through the first 100 pages before they "pick up" and really reel you in. That's because he spends a lot of time in the beginning really explaining the history and laying out the background.
If you do decide to pick up the book again, be forewarned. The Musical had to do some creative editing. So they storylines aren't quite the same.
Maybe I should see if wicked is still playing in Chicago.

| I love Wicked... I also love Phantom Of the Opera..
When we went to Las Vegas a few years back, we watched the Phantom in the Venitian Hotel and it was so amazing.. The theater there is purpose built just to show that musical and its best musical i have ever seen in my life!

| I heard about this new show made by the makers of south park. Its called the book of mormon. I guess it has already won awards. I know it sounds weird but i guess they took it serious and its nothing like south park. | |

| Oh yeah, Shred! I've heard about it too! They say it's really hillarious, especially if you know mormons in a RL. So yeah, I know them! And yeah, I am going to see this show next time I am visiting home! After all, it's Tray Parker & Matt Stone, for crying out loud! | |
