| Now seriously we have some nice things at Portugal other than steak but I don't know for sure how they're made. Try "cozido". From my pov it's just all kinds or random stuff thrown into a stew, so for more information ask bruno. | |

I'd say fried kidney too; but I think you said you don't like organs, so I guess go without them. That's just what I go with anyway; as I'm sure you can tell, everyone has different preferences haha

| Black Pudding AND Kidneys? Maybe in honor of our UK applicant, I can eat a vegetarian English breakfast. Just Joking. I am psyching myself up for the black pudding. Just so you know Americans don't like anything "too" real with animal/seafood meals. Example: We don't like fish served whole, and even if we do eat it, we never eat the head. It gets thrown out. | |

| For Glitchy Yes, I have mastered the lumpia. (from my mom <3) I also make Pancit Canton, Pork or Chicken Adobo and filipino-style spaghetti. I have never had Pancit Palabok. I like shrimp so I am really excited to try this! Is the rice noodles a must? Or can you use flour noodles? I use flour noodles when I make pancit canton. I know some people use rice, and others use a mix of the 2. I have a friend whose family owns an oriental grocery and a filipino restaurant. So the ingredients should be no problem! I'll be sure to post a photo of every dish I make! Thanks! | |

| I have been searching the internet for a Ukrainain restaurant in Chicago that may have Kholodets on the menu. Id rather just go somewhere to order and enjoy some, instead of spending the HOURS necessary to make them. But so far, no luck. So when I do try this Ukrainian dish, I hope I prepare it correctly! *fingers crossed* | |

Beans or tin tomatoes? Grilled/fried/baked tomatoes = yummy hash browns mushrooms - mmmmmmmmm! hmm dunno what else ive missed, i dont have english breakfast often My ideal English Breakfast doesn't include beans or tinned tomatoes: I think they're gross. I do like grilled or slow-baked tomatoes, though, especially if they're crispy and jammy. Fried egg is nice, or you can have scrambled egg. Hash browns aren't essential, but are tasty. Black pudding is really tasty, especially with the egg and fried toast. I love mushrooms! Sausages... mmmm.... get the nice butcher's ones, rather than the MRM rubbishy ones.

| I stared at this photo for 5 minutes. I wanna go to London ASAP! Especially since it's like 6am here and I'm an all-day breakfast person (I love eating at IHOP, Denny's, Ricky's, Mcdonald's breakfast, etc.) | |

Owlka's Kholedets are still on my list, but I have to go to the city and pick up the ingredients. Hmmm. I wonder what I can find thats chamorro (guamanian) to share with you all!

| Here is my Guamanian Contribution. This is probably the most popular dish on the Island! CHICKEN KELAGUEN (KELAGUEN MANNOK)Ingredients1 whole chicken, cut into pieces, or 3 pounds (~1.3 kilos) boneless, skinless chicken breast Juice of 4 limes (or more to taste) 3 green onions, finely chopped 1 coconut, grated, roughly 1 cup (or you can use frozen unsweetened grated coconut from asian store) you can adjust this depending on how much coconut you want in the dish. sea salt, to taste 3 or 4 Thai hot peppers, finely chopped (or other small red hot peppers) tortillas Preparation1. Grill chicken pieces for 10 minutes on one side and then turn and grill 5 more minutes. Remove from grill and allow to cool a few minutes so that you don’t burn yourself. Remove skin and bones and finely chop or grind the meat. 2. In the large bowl, stir together chicken, juice, coconut, (if using frozen coconut make sure you have defrosted it.) salt, onions, and peppers. Let stand 1 hour. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve cold or at room temperature wrapped in tortillas. VariationsBroil: Use your oven broiler to cook the meat following the same directions as for grilling. Bake: Preheat oven to 350° F and bake in foil-lined 9×13 pan for about 30 minutes. Don’t over cook; you want the meat to retain it’s juices. For large parties or potluck when I have to make this quick. I just go to the grocery store and buy rotisserie chickens and shred the meat and add the rest of the ingredients. | |

| Still thinking of recipes to share with James that doesn't involve meat/fish. I have just realized most of Guams dishes are very meat/fish dependent. LOL.
I know how to make lots of Mexican/Puerto Rican dishes too. But need to know, would you not want recipes that included using things like chicken stock/boullion?
Maybe I can post a recipe for banana lumpia or Champulado (<--chocolate rice) or if you have a whole afternoon, LOL I can give you a recipe for Guyeria (pronounced GOO-jer-REE-a) these are Guam cookies. My filipino friends say it is very similiar to a filipino cookie recipe, but I don't know what they call it.
Just let me know! | |

| I made a phone call, and my co-worker suggested this Thai dish for Cymrujam! (and of course any Joker interested. ) Thai Noodles & Spicy Peanut Sauce1 cup fresh snow pea pods 3/4 cup coconut milk 1/2 cup vegetable broth 3 Tbs. soy sauce 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter 2 Tbs. fresh lime juice 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed 2 tsp. sugar 3/4 tsp. ground coriander Crushed red pepper to taste 12-oz. package Udon noodles (substitute spaghetti or fettuccine if you can't find Udon noodles) 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped 1 cup bean sprouts 1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped 1. Trim snow pea pods and blanch for 45 seconds. Set aside. 2. In a large stewpot over medium heat, whisk together coconut milk, vegetable broth, soy sauce, and peanut butter. Add lime juice, garlic, sugar, coriander, and red pepper. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking occasionally, about 5 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated. Reduce heat to low. 3. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and add pasta to sauce, along with snow pea pods, basil, and bean sprouts. Mix gently and place on a serving platter. Sprinkle with peanuts. | |
