| Omg I will finally get to download Dead Nation for free! It's one of the 5 or so games we can choose from to downloas for free once PSStore is back.
I think the others are: Little big planet 1, Wipeout HD and i can't remember the rest.
Just saw this on the news, I'll post a link if I find one.
EDit:Ok i just realized this is old news so you probably know about this already. -___- but still yay for Dead Nation

Even usually optimistic Pamalam can only shake her head and say WTF sony!!! So... its not secure then... there are people out there who spend all day long trying to hack into things (just for the fun of it, or for money, or to be evil, whatever). I'm surprised more systems haven't been hacked, or maybe they have but they haven't been reported about on the media. Why is there some sort of vendetta against Sony and Playstation? I think the only option we have is to wait for the shop to go online, then go find our credit card details and get them removed somehow. It might seem a bit like shutting the stable-doors after the horse has bolted, but at least it'll be a way of showing lack of confidence in Sony's security. It looks like it took the hackers (back-bedroom, unprofessional nerds) about a WEEK to get through the new security measures, which took Sony (a multi-national company) a MONTH to set up. That's my two-cents worth.

| Sony was a bunch of asses to that one guy in addition to their security being significantly weaker than other people's they pretty much made themselves an easy target. | |

| I'm feeling left out from gameplay with the Jokers when they move onto another game as a group. So I want to try to take advantage and pick the 2 games most Jokers will also pick and/or already play so I can get back into the action. 1.) Which free games are online group games so I can play with my beloved Jokers? 2.)Which free games will everyone else be getting? (I originally thought I wanted Rachet & Clank but I just realized that probably isnt a group game. ) | |

That's my two-cents worth. I don't like playstation. I was offered one and i refused, but I eventually got it as a birthday gift and my oppinion is it's not fun to play and it gets pretty boring after a while (I'm not counting fp). One of my friends got one as a prize in a luck contest or smt and he only played 1 game, prototype. Another one only uses it because his brothers likes eye pet and the third never bothered to mention it proving he also doesnt like it. However there is one that has a ps3 and plays it regularly but from these 4 people he is the only one that plays it. There are probably many more and some of them are bound to try to destroy it.

I thought they were just giving away: infamous(prob what I'll get) Super stardust HD (also what i'll get) Dead Nation LBP the first one(I already own) wipeout

| Europeans are offered R&C instead of Super Stardust.
I'll probably get Dead Nation and then either Wipeout or inFamous.

| Vonnie - Sony is giving us all 2 free downloadable games as a "Welcome Back" or "Thank you for being patient" LOL. Ok, so R&C isnt something I can get. (I was just going off of Munas list.) A friend gameshared Wipeout with Mijo, so I think he prob gameshared it with me too. I have to double check. If not, I'll grab it from him, though in all honesty, I dont like racing games all that much. (unless its MarioKart) I do like the idea of getting Stardust. Maybe if I get inFamous and then Mijo gets Dead Nation we can gameshare it. Then he can maybe get a PSP game as well. ??? | |

I'm just trying to be greedy and MAXIMIZE my free game "score". If Evil and I each get 2 diff games we can share them between us. But we already have LBP, and he has Wipeout and Stardust on his PS3.

| Also Pam, if you have a PSP too, you get the free games for that as well as any PS3 ones. It doesn't matter how many consoles you have, you can get the free games for them. I think they're going to do it by username, I don't really know how they can do it otherwise. You have to have registered the username before the start of the downtime for it to count. This is all a bit mute at the moment, since the PS shop STILL ISN'T WORKING. Welcome back? Welcome back to maintenance, I say. One of my friends already has all those games, so he's pretty upset (well, if you're a die-hard Sony player, you would probably get ALL the games, and probably already have the Playstation Plus upgrade thing). It would be good if we could decide which free games we want to get, and get them and play them together. Here's the list for PS3: LittleBigPlanet Infamous* - 'Super Stardust HD' for German players Wipeout HD/Fury Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty Dead Nation* - 'Hustle Kings' for Germans This is an interesting list. The new Infamous game is very close to launch, so, offering the old one is a good marketing ploy. LBP1... useless unless you want to play only LBP1 games. I like the sound of Dead Nation, but I already have Dead Rising 2, and I want to get Plants vs Zombies (how many zombies do you need to kill?). I hear the Ratchet and Clank game is only about 5 hours long, and after that, its finished. So, in conclusion, I would probably go for Wipeout HD (mostly because I don't know anything about it), and then probably Dead Nation (because its had good reviews). | |
