In January this year we sadly lost on of our guinea pigs Pete
He had blather stones and needed surgery, if we didnt did the surgery he would def die.
But unfortunatly he died a few hours after due to the heavy medicines he got.
My world was shoved away under my feet and i was so sad...he was only 3,5 years
way too young for a guinea pig to die.
But, me and my boyfriend, had to gather ourselves because we still had anther guinea pig alive.
Guinea pigs are no solitairy creatures, so we had to find a new friend for our sweet Co.
So after a long search, we found someone who just had babies and we fell in love with a small
guinea pig. He was still too young to take home but we loved him the first time we saw him!!
These are some pics of his birth and when he was a few days old.
His mom making him clean
, born on jan 5th
Only a few days old
With his sister
After 4 weeks we could take him home and introduce him to Co.
From the first moment they met, they were best friends and Co adopted him as his son.
(at least thats how we like to see it haha)
So now his name is Flip (the i pronounced the same as in chip)
On my boyfriends hand:
Cuttling with Co
Ok last pic, in the cage eating some hay
We are so happy with our new guinea pig, he is growing a lot.
He is twice his weight since he's with us.
I still miss Pete a lot every day, but we enjoy seeing Co and Flip being happy
