Shred made the buttons for the menubar!!
Let us know what you think of them, the old buttons are still saved so can be put back easily. The registerbutton is still to come

Because I used to see words without the frames around them.

Can we eliminate frames around words?

Well owlka you could ask shred about the buttons, he made them pretty fast en they look good. Maybe they look even better without the frames, but we can only know if he makes them hehe

missing search, login/register, and groups. I have to make the register/login. Do you guys want no borders?

Well, i thought no one uses the search and groups buttons, so might as well leave them out. Unless someone uses them on a frequent bases....

I am so excited about the "Spring Cleaning" here in the Joker Forum.

So my first thoughts are this...

I am so happy we have a Register Box that pops up and encourages guests to join! I was going to suggest it, but Simmy beat me to it!

Can we make our little Joker mascot be the image in the register box? Maybe underneath it can say Want in on the JOKE? Log-In or Register!

That way if our banner does change our little mascot is always represented and greets everyone coming to our forum!

Also before we change our new post category pictures, I just want to ask, does the picture have to be specifically Joker related? Could it be FP related?

I think we should move the shout-out box to our portal page, so the forum directory isnt so crowded. Maybe the calender too? IDK. I think if we put the fun stuff there, it'll direct people to the portal more often so it isnt neglected. Plus people will be more aware of the rules!!!

I wish I knew how to do forum stuff more...maybe we will all learn a bit through our revamping process.

It's like the 12 days of Christmas when I log into the forum! Always a new little surprise! I can't wait to see what new treats will be in store!

update on progress:
- there will be a better and more prettier shoutbox in the future
- Von will be working on a banner and icons for the forum
- the log in box you get in the beginning will be better
- menubar buttons will be changed by shred
- shoutbox and calender widgets will be moved to the portal

This weekend i have no time to change some things, next week i have more time.

If anyone has better/new ideas pls tell us, everybody's input is very welcome!!

Will we be brainstorming ideas for the new banner/icons and buttons? Just to minimize the amount of time our artists spend drawing and redrawing things?

Can we discuss the fonts used too?

Does our Joker mascot have a name? I just call him Jester.

I noticed im not a pig joker anymore though

I "secretly" changed Flimmings so she wouldn't be a Pig Joker anymore cause it made us sad.

BTW...is anyone haveing problems on the forum?

For example - left hand side, under your info but before the shout-out box there should be a calender. I ise to have it, but no longer do. Something got funky when Sim and Neo started to disassemble the forum last fall. I know Sim has tried to fix it for me, but it has never come back for me. Who else cannot see the calender?

Is it just me or do the Joker hats sometimes change color and other times not change color when there are new posts? I rely on the hats to tell me what threads I need to check out first, but it hasn't been real reliable lately????

Anything else you guys have been experiencing? Lets try to work the kinks out peeps!
