| Does anyone else find Seedless fruit... wrong and gross? I mean the whole point of fruit is to feed the unborn child of the plant, but for some reason the plant creates food for it's blank nonexistence children!! it's weird I tell you!! yet sooo tasty XD | |

| When they make hybrid weird seedless fruit they do it by crossing two varieties that have different maturity rates.
In the case of the watermelon they have made the watermelon ripen at a faster rate then what the seeds mature at. So if you waited long enough it would have seeds, but the fruit itself would have spoiled.
I think you should go with fruit the way nature intended!! How else to continue the whole circle of life? Besides if there were no avocado pits...how would Lizz grow amazing avocado plants?
Yeah for NATURAL plants! Far, far away from a laboratory. Well, with the exception of Grapples, I love me some manufactured grape flavored apples. They should be in season soon! LOL!

| LOL, seedless watermelons do have seeds, trust me I work with this crap every day...they are just little and white...and the way they create these fruits is kinda like how they create a mule and how most of them are sterile...so if you dont like them then you dont like mules either...and this probably would have still happened naturally, just not as much.
and pam grapples lol are just fuji apples pumped with grape juice...its not a cross bread or nothing...but they sure are good..

| ....don't put words in my mouth!!!! I don't need PETA beating me up for being a mule hater!
**for the record Pamalam thinks mules are probably lovely, under-appreciated though somewhat smelly animals that deserves everyone's respect.** LMAO!
and I prefer to think of grapples as the love child between a bunch of concord grapes and a lovely fuji apple. (Grapples smell so good....but I get stared out for sniffing them in the produce section.)
Holler when they become available, I'll go get me a 4-pack.

| i'm talking about how weird it is that the fruit can't make new plants. THats like a woman getting pregnant but not really having a baby that grows inside her belly, but her still making a placenta... it's just WEIRD!!!
Anyway i wish they'd make a seedless pomogranette, that would be awesome and yummies

| Lizz...that could be a million dollar idea!!! But pomegranates are already so pricey...*sigh* Could you imagine how much they would charge?

| seedless pomegrenate.. that would be simply mouth-watering! one thing I really like though.. is those golden kiwis. I'm not sure if they're made from a cross as well, but they have less seeds and have a less fibrous texture to it. They are also much sweeter | |
