My husband said the security of our Creditcard and other profile info and such was available to the hackers... but Sony does not know yet whether or not the info was taken, just that it was accessible

I was friggin mad earlier. I was on Netflix and i decided i'd pause my movie and try and sign into the PSN. Well it sat there for a moment while the loady circle went round and round and my heart started beatin a mile a minute! I REALLY thought i was gunna get in......then in stopped and did the maintanance thing. I was devistated.

I think this whole hacker thing has been really bad for Sonys credibility as a company, and the Playstation brand as a whole. Now they tell us that personal information and even credit card details could be compromised?!

Ah well, its only credit cards... which are good, because if something is taken off them, its protected, at least it is in the UK. I wouldn't be surprised if the hackers have broken into all the accounts, and deleted them all. Or re-set everyone's password to "Suckmyballs" or something equally lame.

Who are these hackers? Do they actually work for Microsoft or what? :-)

I don't think there has been any proof that the hackers have gotten their hands on the credit card info, only users' personal info.
Sony was not first or the last company to get hacked like this. They are doing everything they can now, and I'm counting on that.
But why, oh why did it need to happen on 4 day weekend? Was that part of the plan too?

OMg, that was too funny and its true. I have made it to 170 on the combat tower, I have been learning combos on youtube and I can get a 60% combo with scorpion!....
I have beat the story mode, I unlocked a lot more fatalities. And I do have gold membership to xbl, but no mk9 on xbox360.....BUT are u telling me I CANT PLAY MK9 ONLINE....lol

KOS will be ignited after PSN is back up as well.

Because of PSN being down I'm sure a lot X Box and Wii online has had more traffic than they have had in a while. I've been on my Wii since PSN has been down. I need to get a Gold Membership for my X Box so I can play online. :p

Oh well, I'm gonna play MK2 with my brother on our Sega Genesis
