| My thoughts and prayers are with Japan and it's citizens. It sounds like there is also a Tsunami warning in effect for Russia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Indonesia which reminded me of my worldwide "Joker" family and their loved ones.

| This earthquake has to be one of the biggest - if not the biggest- one that has struck on Japan . It is tradic . | |

| Yesterday morning at school I heard about this, and I freaked out thinking about all the Japanese and Asian friends we have in FP. I hope all Jokers are okay, and all others affected are well. I saw the videos on YT, they were very sad. We should all pray for the nuclear reactors to be under control, many problems are coming up because of them. | |

| I have several friends currently doing their internship in Japan. Luckily, their town is "safe". But there are 3 hours of power-outs per day routine right now. Internet not working well either.
I heard Taiwan is giving medication for people in Japan or going there who are at risk of having complications from the radiation.

| It sounds like it is getting worse. I can almost not bear to turn on the news or read any online articles because I just keep fighting back tears.
My heart lifts with joy when I see the images of familes being reunited and clinging to one another...but I know that with that one reunion there will be hundreds if not thousands of others that will never reconnect.

| Yeah. It is seriously terribly devastating. It makes me scared just thinking about it! One of my roommates in college was from Tokyo and I haven't heard from her since all of this. I hope she's okay! I also really just hope for a better turnout than expected. It is looking worse and worse every day and time is running out to find survivors :[ | |

| Apparently the radiation is affecting some of their crops and water. Food prices are rising in Japan and water bottles from stores are selling out. It sounds chaotic through the news here. | |

| awww I imagine it's gonna be really hard on their economy, people prob won't want to buy things that could be contaminated. I hope the best for everyone there, but not sure how much they can do, radiation leakage is just... all sorts of bad. | |

| really I thought Japan fished out almost all their fish, and that they got their sushi from europe...
Eitherway I guess it's good the japanese grocery moved out of town, so now I won't be tempted until things get alittle better....
