I bought my friend a second-hand NES, with two controllers and a duck-hunt game and gun, for only £15 off eBay! I'd definitely recommend having a look there.

got crysis 2 couple days ago.

I adopted a damaged, last package of Aliens vs predator, hunter edition. It came with a clothpatch, a 3D card and a facehugger replica It was a pretty cool package all in all. Cant understand why every1 hates this game. I didnt find the singleplayer campaign bad at all. I havent gotten around online play yet, since theres no1 playing it
I also got Fairytale Fights for a couple of euros from the store near me.

Ordered FFXIV collectors edit from a web store since it was only 9 euros. Im not so fond of the subscribing for gametime -thingy, but at least i can try it out for a while awesome edit tho, came with journal (empty pages, some concept art and CG), "Tumbler" (a mug thingy...), cloth map!!, a security token and a behind the scenes DVD. Also an ingame item, but i dont think i will bother with that one

But! I understand you. Been there. Done that. I've had a gaming room too, full of games and Limited Editions. It was back then, when I was young and haven't met a beautiful woman I must take care of. So, enjoy, my friend, enjoy yourself in your gameroom while you can!

If I had a room / house like this, my girlfriend would RUN A MILE! (and she actually likes playing computer games!!!).

I wonder how much money that guy spent on his collection. Hundreds, definately. Thousands, probably. How many of those games does he ever play again?

Its a hobby. Just like stamp collecting . And if he can afford it, if he enjoys it, then so be it.

Muna, you have such a great collection already. A few more years and you'll be like this guy! He's from Finland too I see. Do you guys have more expensive games there? I mean because most of the rare collectibles probably has to be ordered from the US or Japan right, so this guy probably has to pay a lot of shipping/custom fees. Unless all his collection comes from Finland already.

We all have hobbies, there's no harm in it.

You're right, there are much worse things he could be doing with his money (drugs etc).

Some of them are from abroad, but mostly finnish stuff I think. He gets lots of games through his job, since he writes on several different gaming magazines. The oldest games are mostly from ebay. Brand new games cost here 60-70€ and collectors editions cost even more. Though we have Åland (Ahvenanmaa) where they don't have this specific tax, so the games cost about 45€ per copy, and usually its free delivery.

@Echidna Thats true. That hobby I don't approve.

lol havent updated this one in ages! i now have lots and lots of more games, and new platforms. maybe ill get to it sometime soon.
