I used to live in the prairies of Canada and this is like an everyday sight there. LOL, that's why we moved to Vancouver.

same thing happening here in Quebec, Canada T_T But we're so used to it, that schools will never close down. XD

Yeah damn snow had me locked in my house.
I went to move my truck for the snowplow guy, and he laughed at me when he saw that I had a mountain to climb to get to my truck.
He had 2 people in his back seat that he gave me to dig me out cause the snow was up to my shoulder when I opened the door, and reached about a cars length to my truck. It took us 30 mins to get though it in full.
It was so bad that the Emergency radio test said that If you leave your house, results could be deadly. I've never heard it say that before. But now we just have mountains to look at since the blizzard stopped finally.

WOW, I saw that. I heard it's coming to the east coast now, and seeing all of what is happening, ha, I'm scared.

Yes we were completely snowed in. The snow drifts that blocked our front door came all the way up to my ribcage! No internet, no cable, so I read a book (Son of a Witch by Gregory Mcquire) then watched a dvd (Stardust) and made yummy Ramen noodles (with Sriracha, scrambled egg, scallions and ham)

The radio said if you venture out the consequences could be deadly! So I was prepared to spend the whole day inside in my jammies! Safety first! Smile

AW not deadly to me. But i heard they were giving ppl tickets for driving on weds. beacause they wanted to clear the roads...1 person did die thow...He was walking along the lake and fell in Sad
